“You can tell the trainers that are real professionals instead of hobbyist With the only qualification of "loves dogs," and it was obvious immediately Kevin is a consummate professional, who's invested his life in this career. It's not just that Kevin is a good dog trainer. The thing that sets him apart is the range of balanced skills he has in his toolbox. There's usually a Ways to do things, but I've seen too many trainers where "everything's a nail" Or with almost cultish adherence to a very narrow training skills set. I can't say enough good, but the meaningful thing is the results, and that's simple - I've never had a dog partner trained and worked with to this level. Maybe a better way to say it is I've never had a dog that I could communicate with so clearly and trust my control over him for any situation we might encounter. The real kicker is that Atticus, my 1 year old Cane Corso, is also the most challenging dog I've had, after a life time of challenging breeds - Akita, Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso… Atticus, at 1 year old, lives the fullest life imaginable because of our work with Kevin. More than that, Because Atticus is such an active breed, I wanted to get into dog sports, They're completely new to it, and Kevin Has been amazing with helping Atticus work towards competing. Without getting into too much detail, I really appreciated Kevin's thoughtful and measured approach, for instance, with care for how new things are introduced. Another random fact that speaks for itself is that I've never worked with a trainer for more than a few sessions in total, It never felt I was getting significant value over what I could do myself with some research and practice, but it's a different story working with Kevin. It's so rewarding and productive with continuing results that just keep building to new levels, so for the first time we train every week, working with Kevin, and plan to continue. Thanks for all your great work Kevin. Anyone that gets to work with you is lucky 🤝”
