FAQ

Before you begin.

Common questions on programs, scheduling and what to expect from KC Canine.

Every engagement begins with a free evaluation. Reach out through the contact page and we'll schedule a time to meet you and your dog, assess temperament and drive, and recommend the right program.

Four programs: a 3-week on-leash obedience, a 6-week on & off-leash obedience, a 9-week behavior modification, and a 12-week advanced obedience & personal protection program.

Yes — the handler is the program. You're coached alongside your dog so the results survive outside the training field. Expect homework and active participation.

All breeds are welcome for obedience and behavior work. The 12-week personal protection program is best suited to working breeds — German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dobermans and similar.

That's what the 9-week behavior modification program addresses. We rebuild the dog's state of mind from the ground up and hand you the tools to maintain it.

Both in-house and in-public. We start in a controlled environment, then proof every command against real-world distractions — your home, neighborhood, parks and crowds.

Training is by appointment. Scheduling is arranged after your free evaluation based on the assigned program.
